For purchase

I don’t currently have any computer games that I’ve purchased, but these were my favorite titles when I was younger that came with a price.

Castle of the Winds
Nomad (This was a bargain bin find, and since it was $3 I didn’t care that the sound didn’t work)
The Oregon Trail
Outpost 1.5
SimCity 2000
The Sims
Where In the World Is Carmen Sandiego?
You Don’t Know Jack: The Ride

Card games

Fluxx. I have the 3.0 regular set with some Blanxx and some promotional bonus cards that Looney Labs sent me.
Mille Bornes was a game that my aunt Laura introduced to me as a young child. I don’t have my own set, but I have a computer version of it.
Poker, though I am rather terrible at it. My father and his father have ingrained in me a penchant towards declaring one-eyed Jacks wild, say, or black twos and red fives.

Board games

Backgammon. I am used to being the player whose two farthest pieces are on the upper right.
Monopoly, but only with the rule that the person who lands on Free Parking gets the money in the pot. Otherwise it’s no fun. (Did you know that that rule isn’t even in the official rules?)
Scrabble, though I need to spend more time learning my two -letter combinations.
